PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus being reduced in size and having two printing functions of sheet printing and journal printing, and capable of effectively constituting in a limited space a POS station together with a personal computer, a drawer, a display and the like. SOLUTION: In order from front 6a of a printer 5, there is provided in series a receipt printing part 10, a receipt printing roll paper 11 housing part 17, a journal printing part 20, a journal printing roll paper 21 housing part 27 and a winding reel 22 housing part 29 for winding journal printed paper, and a part to the printed journal paper transportation path can be visually seen from the exterior of the printer. By arranging in a row these parts respectively, an unnecessary space is precluded from occurring within the printer 5, and thus the printer is miniaturized thinly, and journal printed effects can be seen visually to render them confirmable, so that printer can be provided with high reliability. Furthermore, flat arrangement of these respective parts enable its maintainability and operability to be ensured excellently. |
