PURPOSE:To stabilize discharge, and to execute recording having a high grade by smoothly changing volume velocity in acoustic impedance toward a supply port. CONSTITUTION:One end of a pipe 11 constituting a head section body is throttled to a tapered shape and constricted toward a nose, and a. discharge opening 2 is formed at the nose. The other end section is formed to a fan-shaped trumpet shape, and the fan-shaped supply port 12 is sunk into an ink tank 4. In the liquid injection recording head, excellent matching is taken between the ink tank 4 and the supply port 12 by smoothly changing the volume velocity of acoustic impedance when the pressure waves of an ink main drop 5A are propagated to the upstream side and reflected by the end section of the supply port 12 even when voltage is applied to a piezoelectric element 3 and the ink main drop 5A is discharged in the sectional shape of the pipe 11, thus preventing reflection. |
