PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a manual type printer capable of color printing with two or more colors by providing a means for generating printing timing of a main printing head, and a printing timing for a sub printing head disposed behind the main printing head in the moving direction. SOLUTION: In the case a plurality of devices are connected, a delay circuit 31 generates a predetermined delay time for matching printing timing and inputs delay time data to a controlling portion 14. In the case a plurality of devices are connected for printing a mixed color for color printing, the controlling portion 14 has a function for achieving superimposed printing of corresponding printing dots based on the signals inputted from the other devices. If the printing data by the printing head of the sub device has the equivalent amount as the printing data by the printing head of the main device, the printing data of the sub device are set by copying the printing data of the main device for a higher peed processing. |
