PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent abrasion resistance and prevent generation of abnormal noises by composing a sliding member used for a bearing bush of composition which is mixture of chop of steel fiber or wool and a bolo-silicate glass powder with a specified ratio. SOLUTION: A spherical zone seal body 10 used for a spherical joint of an exhaust pipe of a motorcar is prepared by compressing and molding component which is mixture of 40 to 80wt.% chop of steel fiber or wool, 3 to 20wt.% bolosilicate glass fiber powder, and 15 to 50wt.% graphite powder. On necessity, it includes 0.3 to 2wt.% of phenol resin powder, and/or 0.2 to 1wt.% of metal fluorize powder. As the metal fluoride, lithium fluoride, sodium fluoride, pottasium fluorize is used. Further on necessity, 0.2 to 1wt.% of phosphate powder is included. |
