The hydraulic press elements are located on the top side of the support beam for the machinery used to move the press shoe towards and away from the counter-roll. The traction bars in this machinery are joined together by a yoke on the underside of the beam. The yoke is joined to a piston-cylinder arrangement (24) whose piston (23) or cylinder (25) supports the underside of the beam. The shoe press (1) contains at least one hydraulic element (3) urged against a counter-roll (4). A combination of two traction bars (15) joined to the shoe along its length sides, a yoke (21) and a piston-cylinder arrangement (24) are mounted on a fixed support beam (9) and used to move the press shoe (2) away from the counter-roll. |
