<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a resonance from being produced by a floor panel vibrating and effectively prevent a splashing noise from being heard made in a fuel tank by applying an inflated flange part of the fuel tank to vehicle body members under pressure, and providing a gap between the top face of the fuel tank and the back face of the floor panel. CONSTITUTION:A fuel tank 1 is suspended and fixed under a floor panel 2 by using a pair of supporting bands 6. One end of each supporting bank 6 is fastened and fixed to a sheet cross member 3 and the other end to a rear cross member 4. In this case, an inflated flange part 8 before and after the circumferential part of the fuel tank 1 is pressedly applied to the back faces of the cross members 3, 4. the top face 7 of the fuel tank 1 is not pressedly applied to the back face of the floor panel 2 but the position to install the fuel tank 1 on vehicle body members 3, 4 is adjusted, which provides such a sufficient gap 9 between both 7 and 2 as to prevent suffering the influence by the floor panel 2 vibrating.</p> |
