<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber to combine together bending disc operation of an elevation valve and blowoff operation and have a disc assembly. SOLUTION: A shock absorber uses a single flexible disc assembly having a flexible disc 70 to execute flexible disc operation necessary to pass liquid between the two sides of the shock absorber as blowoff operation is performed. In this case, the flexible disc 70 has a protrusion part 72 formed on a spring seat on the rear side. The protrusion part 72 partitions a ring having the same axis as the axis in a longitudinal direction of the central part of a piston rod 32. In a regular elongation state, the pressure of elongation damping fluid is accumulated to a point, to which somewhat release is effected through bending so that regular bleed through is practicable. However, when the elongation pressure is accumulated up to a given pressure, the valve is bent to an extreme degree toward a protrusion part formed on a spring seat. In this method, a ring is served as a fulcrum and a given amount of pressure reduced fluid passes until an elongation pressure attains a regular value.</p> |
