PURPOSE:To easily insert the leading end of a minute instrument in the desired region of a cell by driving the minute instrument in the axial direction thereof and always preliminarily grasping the position of the leading end thereof when said leading end is returned to the visual field of a microscope. CONSTITUTION:When a minute instrument M is simultaneously driven in a horizontal X-direction and a vertical Z-direction at the same speed, the instrument M mounted so a to be inclined by 45 deg. with respect to a horizontal plane is driven along the axial direction thereof. Herein, the leading end of the instrument M is brought to a state matched with the center of an index C as shown by a drawing (b) and the instrument M is retracted upwardly along the axial direction thereof by the second operation signal supply means c' and, subsequently, an operation lever is manually operated to match the center of the index C with the desired region in a cell by the first operation signal supply means b' as shown by a drawing (c). At this time, since the instrument M is also moved parallelly along an X-Y plane, the state obtained when the instrument M is previously retracted upwardly is kept in the positional relation between the instrument M and the index C. Subsequently, when the instrument M is returned downwardly along the axial direction thereof by the means c', the leading end of the instrument M can be inserted in a desired region. |
