PURPOSE:To secure limp form running with which a driver can cope with diverse conditions of a road at a failure. CONSTITUTION:When a range deciding means M1 decides the range to be different from the selected range on the base of that the oil pressure is not generated in an oil passage RP for setting the selected range, a failure deciding means M4 decides it to be a failure, and outputs an indication signal to an on-off deciding means M2, for changing the on-off combination of a solenoid valve S to the other combination. Based on this indication signal, an output means M3 outputs the other combination which is an on-off combination with which the selected range is set, and consequently, the selected range or a range similar to the selected range is set in spite of the failure of the valve. |
