PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic-tire core designed so that when the internal pressure of a tire has dropped, even in such a vehicle that great side forces are applied, its crown part is prevented from damaging the inner surface of the tire for enhanced longevity by taking the direction of application of the forces into account, and so that assembly of a circular body (segment) constituting the core is facilitated. SOLUTION: A pneumatic-tire core, which supports a pneumatic tire T from inside when the internal pressure of the tire has dropped, comprises a crown part supporting the tire T from inside, a base part forming the innermost part of the core along the radial direction, and a support part leading from the crown part to the base part to support the crown part, the support part having a curved cross-sectional shape involving the rotation axis of the tire, so that the support part is located on the outer part of the vehicle when the tire is attached to the vehicle. |
