PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength of a supporting member (column bracket) supporting a steering shaft by reinforcement of simple constitution. SOLUTION: This steering device is constituted so that it is provided with steering shafts 12, 13 contracting by external force from the front of a vehicle, and a regulating member 19 provided on a supporting member 15 supporting the steering shafts and regulating contraction of the steering shafts 12, 13. In this case, a connecting member 50 of which rigidity in the tensile direction is high and rigidity in the compressive direction is low is interposed between a body constituting member 31 in front of the regulating member 19 and the supporting member 15. |
