PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve a problem such the a nugget is bit stayed at a heating part below a furnace because of the charge into the furnace as in the nugget state and the nugget is dropped into a molten metal vessel before melting to cause lowering in the molten metal temp. in the vassel and copper particles are directly invaded into a burner hole to easily develop the clogging of the burner hole. SOLUTION: The nuggets of copper 206 are formed by cutting off a copper electric wire, etc., as scrap object to particular shape/while a frame-shaped surround is firmed in a mold 101 filled with a small quantity of molten metal 102 by using a frame body 103. The nuggets of copper 206 are charged into the frame body 103 and the molten metal 105 is poured into the frame body 103 and the mold 101 to produce a solid material 106 after cooling. The solid material 106 is charged into a shaft furnace to execute the melting.
