PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a seat plate to be used as a seat when a person soaks half the body in a bathtub, by pivotally attaching the double hinged type seat plate capable of turning from an erect state, almost vertical direction, to a horizontal position along the opposite inner wall surfaces of a bathtub, and by fixing the seat plate almost in the horizontal position by the attachment of a fixing means to the seat plate. SOLUTION: A double hinged type seat plate 2, capable of turning from an erect state, almost vertical direction, to a horizontal position along the opposite inner wall surfaces 11 of a bathtub 1, is pivotally attached to the lower part of the bathtub 1. The seat plate 2 is composed of seat plates 21 and 22 which are opposite to each other and connected to the inner wall surfaces 11 of the bathtub 1 by means of hinges 3. As a fixing means for fixing each of the seat plates 21 and 22 almost horizontally and making them function as a seat, a horizontally-turnable, rectangular support 4 is provided on the one seat plate 21. The support 4 holds the seat plate 2 horizontally by being inserted in the hollow 21 a of the seat plate 21 while pivotally attached to the fuming shaft 41, and by being extended in the hollows of both the seat plates 21 and 22. |
