<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure having good operability, capable of being additionally installed as required, and not undergoing problems of wiring cables. SOLUTION: On the rear part of a longitudinally elongated front surface panel 2 of the main body 1, an L-shaped or laterally U-shaped medium passage 11 is formed, and a print head or an image reading optical unit 16 and a feed roller 14 are disposed along the medium passage. Signals and electric source cable relative to these members are connected to an interface board built in the main body within a case of the main body, and a connector is located at a position facing the rear position of the front surface panel. In addition, preferably, a subpanel openable at this side is set at a part of the front surface panel 2, and aforementioned feeding roller 14 is axially provided on the subpanel 20. By replacing the front surface panel with a panel constituted in this way, an image scanner or a printer is mounted thereon.</p> |
