WOVEN FABRIC HAVING RADIATION AND HEAT-RETAINING PROPERTIES, DEODORIZATION AND ANTIMICROBIAL PROPERTIES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain air-permeating woven fabrics useful for underwear, socks, bedclothes having radiation, heat-retaining properties, deodorization and antimicrobial properties by weaving yarns containing fibers having fine powders of tourmaline, silica, serpentine and amphibole kneaded in and animal protein fibers into a mesh. SOLUTION: Fine powders of tourmaline, silica, serpentine and amphibole are kneaded in a base material such as viscose rayon or polyester fibers and the fibers and animal protein fibers such as Chinon fiber or sink fiber are use to prepare yarns. The yarns are woven in mesh clothes having a mesh space of about 0.5-16mm<2> . This woven fabrics have markedly good heat-retaining effect in addition to the radiation characteristics of natural stone and are useful in the fields of clothing and medical fields.
