<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can give low ink dots irrespectively of the quality of paper and having good fixation strength and high print quality by adding a supercooling agent to an ink jet recording ink composition ejected at a temperature higher than ordinary temperature. CONSTITUTION:0.1-50.0wt.% supercooling agent (e.g., glycerol tribenzoate) is added to an ink composition comprising a vehicle and a colorant, especially, an ink composition in which the vehicle is a solid or semisolid having a melting point or pour point higher than ordinary temperature, ejected from an ink jet recording device at a temperature higher than ordinary temperature. This ink composition can give a print having rubbing resistance and high quality because the setting time of ink on the surface of a recording paper is slightly prolonged owing to the effect of the supercooling agent, the ink drops that surface are flattened, the formed dots are set in a state in which part of them penetrate into the fiber near the flat surface of the recording paper.</p> |
