PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of a septic tank capable of reducing the number of required molds and capable of easily producing tank bodies of septic tank having various vols. and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This tank body has at least an upper tank inflow part section 3, an upper tank discharge part section 4, a lower tank inflow part section 5, a lower tank discharge part section 6 and the upper tank intermediate sections 7a-7d arranged between the upper tank inflow part section 3 and the upper tank discharge part section 4. The axial length of the lower tank inflow part section 5 is made larger than that of the upper tank inflow part section 3 and the axial length of the lower tank discharge part section 6 is made larger than that of the upper tank discharge part section 4 and these sections are formed from a polynorbornene resin by a reactive injection molding method and the flanges 8 formed to the respective sections are mutually bonded to be assembled. |
