PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin and hydrotalcite, to be used in contact with a sulfur-cured rubber composition, not getting discolored (e.g. yellowing) and maintaining its beautiful appearance forever. SOLUTION: This resin composition comprises (A) a thermoplastic resin (pref. olefin-based resin, esp. polyethylene or polypropylene) and (B) hydrotalcite, and pref. furthermore, (C) an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer rubber (pref. ethylene- propylene copolymer rubber), (D) an aromatic vinyl compound-conjugated diene compound block copolymer or hydrogenated product thereof (pref. hydrogenated product of styrene-butadiene or styrene-isoprene block copolymer). The amount of the component B to be used is 0.1-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of a total of the components A, C and D, and the weight ratios A/(C+D) and C/D are (90:10) to (10:90) and (95:5) to (5:95).
