RESISTOR DEVICE FOR VOLTAGE LIMITATION BETWEEN THE CONTACTS OF THE PRESELECTOR OF STEPPING VOLTAGE REGULATOR

The resistor device is used in stepping voltage regulators for under-load-adjusted transformers. It enables the assembly of a supporting cylinder to the lower shield of the selector and for satisfactory cooling of resistors where labour and material costs are reduced. The resistor device contains an insulation cylinder having three supporting plates in the upper fastening end the lower shield of the selector, having one or more resistors per phase, electrically connected in a resistor unit, fixing brackets and current collection terminals. The resitors are fitted to the external periphery of an isulation cylinder, the beginning of each resistor unit is electrically connected to a supporting plate, and its end to a current collecting terminal.
