By the method, a reference center line(Ao) to cross center of the asymmetric part is set. An average(x, y, z) and dispersion(delta x, delta y, delta z) of the distances are acquired. The angle which has minimum dispersion is determined as the angle(K) of the part. A center line between the reference center line(Ao) and the angle(K) line is acquired. Another dispersion(delta zx) is acquired for a final decision. Thereby, the angle of the part is accurately acquired so that locating the part can be precisely performed.
