Disclosed is an apparatus to regulate movement back and forth of a front seat of a car. In the apparatus, a rack-gear plate(20) is fixed parallel with an lower rail(5) on the floor panel(10). A pinion(30) is installed to move with a the actuating lever(50) under the side faces of the seat(1). Angle of the actuating lever(50) is controlled by state of a latch(40). Thereby, an user regulates the position of the front seat(1) by handling the actuating lever(50) with a convenience.
