Log module (4) made from a lightweight, non-porous, insulating material which is weather resistant, unattractive to unwanted animals (eg. rats or termites) and does not rotate by itself - comprises a solid outer plastic tube having a vinyl layer on the outside and insulation on the inside, forming a sealed air layer inside the tube. Logs are joined together by inserting metal rods through metal tubes (8) extending vertically through the modules. Screws (6), bolts (7) and washers (5) are used to ensure strong joints between the logs, as are sealing strips (3) between each log. |
