The device consists of a plastic sachet containing two discs (5) which are attached to each other. A notch (3) cut out from one of the discs allows the separation of the two discs. The discs are covered on one surface with a fine layer of adhesive, enabling them to be attached to the telephone handset, one to the mouthpiece and one to the earpiece. The two discs may be fastened back together again after use, permitting their re-use on another occasion. The dimensions of the discs may be a diameter of approximately 5.7 cm and a thickness of 2 mm.
