The mechanical and electrical fitting for and electrical wall or ceiling connection comprises a female terminal (1) embedded within the wall and a male terminal (10) attached to the wall or ceiling lamp fitting (30). Provision is made for an instantaneous fitting linking together the two mechanically and electrically. The fitting comprises elastic elements (14,14') with axes parallel to the terminals (3,3'13,13') establishing the fixed connections of the female terminal (1). These cooperate with orifices (4,4') in the other terminal (10) in which they are mechanically locked. The elastic lamellae (14,14') each have one end which is fixed in the region of the edge of the terminal (10), whilst the other end has a fixing hook (17,17') cooperating with the orifice in the other terminal. |
