The protector includes a housing (6) having a hole (7) to accommodate a base (3) with a central tube (4) for the liquid. A tube (1) is closed at its lower end (2) and is sealed to a casing (15) at its open upper end (16). A transparent tube (17) allows its contents to be visible and makes a sealed join between the casing and the base. A flexible strip (45), sensitive to a magnet (23) in a float (22) is housed in the tube at the transparent section. The temperature sensor (25,26) forms a contact at the lower end of the tube and connects to output terminals (34,35) in the casing. The pressure sensor (28) is housed in the casing and connects physically to the interior of the transparent tube and electrically to an output terminal (31).
