<p>Small kitchen appliances, such as coffee mills, mixers, or minor food processors may be energized in a cordless fashion by supplying the energy in the form of an ELF field from an induction cooking coil disposed in a tabletop. The base of the appliance has a receiving coil, and suitable convertor means provide e.g. DC for running the motor inside the appliance. Simple removal will turn the appliance off.</p> |
