An electrochemical device with enhanced performance stability over time and according to the operating temperature is disclosed. The device contains an electrolytic solution including at least one solution of a salt in a solvent at least mostly consisting of at least one compound selected from aliphatic dinitriles, aliphatic alkoxynitriles and symmetrical or asymmetrical bis-cyanoalkyl ethers, or a mixture of at least two of these compounds considered in isolation or in combination, said compound and said mixture being liquid at room temperature.
