A storage case (20) for storing an information recording device, such as a compact disc or audio-cassette, is provided, in which a portion of the storage case is optically transparent and formed with a convex outer surface through which printed material can be viewed in an enlarged size. The storage case is comprised of a first cover and a second cover which are hinged together thereby defining an enclosure with a front panel, back panel and four side walls.
