A method for laminating a solid polymer electrolyte film which comprises laminating a layer of a fluid solid polymer electrolyte on a base film or on a thin layer comprising a metal or a metal oxide which is laminated on a base film; or laminating a layer of a fluid solid polymer electrolyte containing a polymerizable compound, polymerizing said compound, thereby making said solid polymer electrolyte layer substantially non-flowable and applying pressure to the resulting laminate or laminating a layer of a fluid solid polymer electrolyte followed by laminating a cover film on a surface of said fluid solid polymer electrolyte; or laminating a layer of a fluid solid polymer electrolyte containing a polymerizable compound followed by laminating a cover film and polymerizing said coupound. Also disclosed are methods for producing a solid polymer electrolyte composite electrode using the solid polymer electrolyte film.
