The wheel suspension for vehicle has a longitudinal carrier pivoting on the chassis on bearings and a longitudinally elastic wheel guide link (2). The latter comprises a combined damping and longitudinally elastic pivot (9). The assembly can have a wheel carrier mounted hydro-elastic strut (14) and a Kidney shaped resilient bearing (4). The hydro-elastic support can be parallel to the kidney bearing. The kidney bearing can have a bearing bracket (11) of the hydro-elastic bearing positioned on a bearing axis (10) of a support (8) of the longitudinal carrier.
