The system includes at least one event computer (20) connected (89) to a local area network (21) for operation and/or monitoring of the shooting ranges (28,29). An administrative computer (11) manages and processes the event data received from the event computer(s) via a wide area network (WAN) (16). - Other computers (12-14) are connected (97,96,95) to the same WAN for exchanging data with other systems participating in the competition. Additional event computers (30,40,50) may be connected to other ranges (31,41,51).
