<p>Therapeutic compositions for the treatment of infectious diseases are disclosed. These compositions comprise xanthones and xanthone derivatives, such as 2,3,4,5,6-pentahydroxyxanthone. Also disclosed are methods for the treatment of infectious diseases using such compounds.</p> |
