New sodium percarbonate consists of agglomerates of small sodium percarbonate crystals and has (a) an average particle size of more than 600 mu m; (b) the density of the agglomerate is between 0.75 g/cm<3> and 1.1 g/cm<3>; and (c) the content of active oxygen is greater than 14%. Also claimed is the preparation of the new sodium percarbonate. |
