Soil sample extraction device

The device has a helical drill (12) which is drilled into the ground via an associated drive (13), with subsequent extraction for removal of a soil sample stripped from the drill via a stripping device. The drill is supported by a frame (30) with a retractable engagement element (20), e.g. a slider, brought into engagement with the drill turns as the drill penetrates the ground, for removing their previous sample during the drilling for the next sample.
