Unit making frames from plastic profiles

An original unit manufactures frames from plastic profiles. Individual frame sections are held and located by clamping devices. An actuator closes one clamping jaw towards the other, fixed jaw, to hold the section. A new feature is the arrangement of a flexible tensile element (4) between the moving jaw (1) and the actuator (3). Preferably, the tensile element is e.g. an endless belt, cord or chain used to close or retract the jaw. It is guided by idlers (5); the jaw being led on a guide (6). The tensile element is preferably a toothed belt, driven by a servomotor.
