<p>A method for treating neoplastic growth and/or metastases is described. This involves using allosteric effectors, preferably fibric acid derivatives. In one embodiment, these compounds are used in a subject having a tumor experiencing rapid growth and at risk for metastases. In another embodiment, these compounds are used with a second antineoplastic agent such as radiation or a chemotherapeutic agent.</p> |
