The vending machine consists of a rotatable base (1), two storage containers (2, 3) connected by a hinge (3a) and a vending panel (4). It can be assembled in a short time and shut up for the night. The external surfaces of storage container (3) are fitted with mobility sensors (11). The base contains a motor for rotating the unit towards a person detected within range of the sensors. A connecting rod supports the upper storage container and is locked to that container and at the base.
