<p>Vehicle has a rotating roller (18) in a non-sliding mounting at the vehicle housing (12), between paired leading and trailing drive wheels (14,16). The drive wheels (14,16) are each mounted to the vehicle housing (12) by telescopic supports (20,22). The upper section of the vehicle housing (12) pref. has a trapezoid cross-section over the vehicle width. The motor is fitted near one of the angled sides of the vehicle housing (12), and the gearing is fitted near the opposite angled side. The driving seat (32) is mounted to one side of the vehicle housing (12), near the angled side where the gearing is located. All the wheels (14,16) are powered, and both pairs of wheels can be steered. USE/ADVANTAGE - The vehicle is used to turn over the compost material by a rotating roller which picks up the compost and spins it upwards to fall back again in a new layering. The vehicle has compact dimensions, and can be delivered easily to the point of use.</p> |
