发明名称 METHOD OF TREATING SURFACES AND A SUITABLE DEVICE
摘要 The proposed method of treating surfaces and a suitable device relate to the metallurgical industry and can be used for removing impurities from and/or applying various coatings, including protective coatings, to metal surfaces. The device comprises elements for feeding an electrolyte to the treatment zone (4, 6) and a collection and cleaning system (5). The anode is set equidistantly from the treated surface with an inter-electrode gap h (m) lying in the range 0.2 PHI to 4.0 PHI , where PHI (complex parameter, M) = (Ukp delta ) / ( lambda / alpha x sigma H)<-0.5>, Ukr - the voltage (V) at which electrical discharge plasma is formed, delta - thickness (m) of the electrical discharge plasma layer at the surface, lambda - coefficient of thermal conductivity (Wt/M.K) of the electrolyte, alpha - the temperature coefficient (K<-1>), sigma H - specific electrical conductivity (ohm/m<-1>) of the electrolyte. The anode may be provided with channels for feeding the electrolyte (3), a sprayer (9), and a distributor-collector (10). The method involves the following: a layer of electrical discharge plasma (11) is formed at the treatment surface by an equidistantly arranged anode with a defined inter-electrode gap (h). For cleaning surfaces, it is proposed that the anode should be made from a chemically inert material such as carbon. Coatings can be deposited on opposite surfaces simultaneously to either identical or different depths, in which case the article is disposed equidistantly from two parallel anodes or at different distances from the latter, as apppropriate; or on an inner surface of articles, in which case the anode is disposed inside the internal cavity.
