<p>A small farm distillation system for producing commercially useful (196 proof) ethanol. The system utilizes a system grinder (64) suitable for a variety of produce containing a range of water content from 15 to 75 % and a programmed controller (130) to provide for a batch continuous flow substantially manpower-free operation during a day and, therefore, suitable for economical operation on a small farm. The system further utilizes a recycled stillage (20) system and heat exchanger (150) for more efficient operation. The controller (130) is programmed for the produce being used and the controller senses and times and controls the operation such that there is a number of fermenters (86, 88, 90), the number matching the number of days required to produce the supply of ethanol from the introduction of the batch of organic produce so that there is a supply of ethanol produced each day.</p> |
