PURPOSE:To obtain androgen acceptor bonding inhibitor containing extract of crude drugs such as Swertiae Herba, S. Pseudochinensis Hara, Schtellariae Radix or Glycyrrhizae Radix, useful in prevention of androgen dependent disease and advantageous in acquisition of raw material and cost. CONSTITUTION:Extract of crude drug obtained from Swertiae Herba, S. Pseudochinensis Hara, Schtellariae Radix, Glycyrrhizae Radix, Rhei Rhizonma, San-chi ginseng, Phyllostachysis Folium, Citri Leiocarpae Exocarpium, Arecae Semen, Caryophylli Flos, Bupleuri Radix, Coicis Semen, Cnidii Rhizome, Chinese peony, Gambir, Polygalae Radix, Plantaginis Semen, etc. are contained as active ingredients. The extraction is carried out by immersing dried product, finely cut product or ground product of whole glass of crude drugs in a solvent such as pentane or hexane and subjecting the extract to filtration and centrifugal separation. The inhibitor is used in prevention and remedy for androgen- dependent disease, for example, hirsutism, spasm, android baldness, prostatic hypertrophy, prostatic ulcer, early maturation, etc. |
