<p>PURPOSE:To enable the changeover of address/data even when an address part is provided at only one end to increase the capacity of a data part by giving restriction to the address parts provided at both ends of an information track. CONSTITUTION:On an outward trip of an optical card, the processing of an address/data reproducing signal is changed by an address/data changeover circuit 56 based on a regenerative signal of the address part as a reference. A distance between a position where an address regenerating signal is outputted during the time of scanning the optical card and an output point of a left sensor for showing a position of a carriage during the time of feeding the optical card is measured by using a linear encoder pulse (g), and this is stored in counters 60 and 61. Then, on a return trip, the processing of the address/data reproducing signal is changed by the changeover circuit 56 based on a stored distance with a position of a right sensor output as a reference. By this method, even when the address part is provided at only one part, the address part and the data part can accurately be reproduced.</p> |
