<p>PURPOSE:To suppress the deterioration and abrasion of a belt. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device is provided with a photosensitive drum 8, the belt 17 disposed adjacently to the photosensitive drum 8 and attracting and carrying a form, a transfer charger 18 transferring the toner image of the photosensitive drum 8 on the form carried by the belt 17, an elevating/lowering mechanism 25 for moving the belt 17 between transferring and retreating positions, and a meandering regulating roller 35 abutting on both end parts of the belt 17 to prevent the meandering of the belt 17 when it is moved to the transfer position by the elevating/lowering mechanism 25.</p> |
