PURPOSE:To obtain a frequency dividing circuit which can be used in the intact state without changing the design of a conventional controller by obtaining two-phase pulse signals having the phase difference of 90 deg. even if the frequencies of two-phase pulse signals P1 and P2 having the phase difference of 90 deg. from an encoder, whose resolution is improved, are divided. CONSTITUTION:The rotating direction signals of a motor are formed from the respective rise-up or fall-down edges of two-phase signals P1 and P2 having the phase difference of 90 deg., which are generated in response to the rotation of the motor. The signals having the phase difference of 90 deg., which are the two-phase frequency-divided signals of the two-phase pulse signals P1 and P2, are formed by the specified combination of the rotating direction signals, the rise-up and fall-down edges of one pulse signal of the two-phase pulse signals P1 and P2 and the two-phase frequency-divided signals. |
