Described are pyrrolo¢2,3-d!pyrimidines in which R1 to R5, m and n are as defined in the description. The compounds exhibit useful pharmaceutical properties and are particularly effective as protein tyrosine kinase inhibitors. The can be used to treat bone and other illnesses in warm-blooded animals in which inhibition of protein tyrosine kinase has a favourable effect.
