<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate connecting work in connecting a branch pipe to a main pipe, and prevent water leakage resulting from it even at a position of high underground water pressure. CONSTITUTION:A through hole 3 with such an inside diameter as can permit a branch pipe 2 to be inserted is drilled in the peripheral wall of a main pipe 1, and a donut-shaped packing member 4 provided with a smaller central hole 4A in inside diameter than the outside diameter of the branch pipe 2 is bonded to the outer periphery of the main pipe 1 coaxially with the through hole 3. Then, by pushing out the packing member 4 from the inside of the main pipe 1, the branch pipe 2 is inserted, and a jointed part between the end of the branch pipe 2 and the inner surface of the main pipe 1 is bonding-sealed with watertight member from the inside of the pipe.</p> |
