<p>In a radio apparatus including a plurality of variable-gain amplifiers (101 and 107-108; 201-202 and 208) and at least one frequency converter (102, 203) which are connected in series, a gain controller includes a plurality of gain control lines (111-113, 210-212)and a gain control signal generator (110, 209).
