PURPOSE: To miniaturize an engine as a whole by employing a crankshaft as a driving source for an oil pump, and heighten the efficiency in supplying the oil from the pump to each bearing of the crankshaft. CONSTITUTION: In an oil pump device for a four-cycle, outboard motor equipped with an oil pump 53, which sends with pressure the oil from the oil tank to each bearing of a crankshaft 55 of an engine, a pump shaft 54 of the oil pump 53 is driven via driving gear 56, which is placed lower than a crank web 85 staying at the lowermost part of the crankshaft 55 placed in the longitudinal direction in the lower part of a crank room 68. A gallery 61, which is placed on the discharge side of the pump 53, is erected from a cylinder body. |
