NEW MATERIAL:A polypeptide of the formula [C277 is the peptide residue of 277 amino acids corresponding to Pro<1239>-Ser<1515> in the cell adhesion region of human fibronectin (FN); W is Met-Ala; X is the peptide residue of 11 amino acids corresponding to Asn<2133>-Ser<2143> of FN; Y is 45 amino acid residue in the fibrin binding region on the C-terminal side of FN corresponding to Cys<2144>- Trp<2188>; Z is the peptide residue of 87 amino acids corresponding to Cys<2189>- Gly<2275> in the fibrin binding region on the C-terminal side of FN; k, l, m, n are 0, 1]. USE:An anticoagulant agent, wound curing agent. PREPARATION:For example, cDNA coding polypeptides C277, X, Y, Z or the like constituting the parts of FN and cDNA coding W are bonded to vector to prepare a recombinant plasmid containing DNA coding the polypeptide of the formula.
