The choke coil contains a cylindrical coil (2) with several windings (6) and a single winding short circuit coil (4) arranged axially wrt. each other. The winding ends of the cylindrical coil have connectors (8,10) fitted. The short circuit coil can be mounted inside the cylindrical coil or vice versa. The cylindrical coil can be wound onto the short circuit coil, which can consist of a metal tube of steel or copper. The windings of the cylindrical coil can be wound from a strip conductor.
